Purple fields of Datca

This morning I took my bicycle ride around the artichoke fields, and came back with these photos...

Bu sabah ki bisiklet turumu, enginar tarlalarının etrafında yaptım ve bu fotoğraflarla döndüm..

and these are the ones at home...

ve bunlarda evdekiler....

  1. Beautiful - it reminds me of the field behind my Villa in Ellenika, Eastern Crete. Complete with those gorgeous bumble bees. Thank you for the memory. Francesca

  2. Any idea why they weren't harvested to eat. With artichokes at 75krs each it seems a waste to let them flower, even though they are beautiful.
